FOR THE DAY
Lighting planning & exhibition design at the Aegidien Exhibition Center
For the Aegidien exhibition center, we developed a holistic concept combining exhibition design and lighting planning.
The goal was to present the content in an atmospheric, clearly structured, and visitor-friendly manner. The particular challenge:
The historic rooms were not allowed to be disturbed or obscured by any visible lighting technology.
In close collaboration with curators, architects, and monument conservationists, a lighting design was created that blends discreetly into the architecture while still specifically supporting the exhibits, spatial impact, and wayfinding. Invisible integration, technical precision, and design restraint formed the basis for a harmonious exhibition experience.
