Individual luminaire development & lighting concepts for architecture, museums and monument preservation
For over 20 years, Fischer & Partner Lichtdesign has been developing customized lighting solutions for demanding lighting planning projects in architecture, exhibition design, and historic preservation. In many of our projects, the development of our own custom luminaires is essential – be it for museums, churches, palaces, hotels, cultural buildings, or modern architecture.
Special luminaires – lighting planning with system and individuality
The development of a dedicated lighting series for a building enables:
- Uniform material and form language
- Minimization of lamp and power supply types
- Use of standard components for long-term spare parts availability
- Combination of general lighting and emergency lighting function in one system – for less technology on the ceiling, better maintainability and aesthetic clarity
This creates timeless, energy-efficient and functional lighting systems that are architecturally integrated and technically durable.
Product development with strong partners
Our lighting manufacturer works closely with:
- German lighting manufacturers
- Venetian glass manufacturers
- Bohemian lighting producers
- as well as specialized metal and electronics companies
This enables high-quality, individually manufactured designer lights, both as individual pieces and in series production.
Our partner companies can also restore historic lamps or faithfully reproduce them. We also develop custom lampshades, tailored to your room concept, fabrics, curtains, and color schemes.
We also advise on the market launch of series luminaires resulting from architectural projects.
Lighting solutions for castles, churches & historic buildings
In listed buildings such as palaces, churches, castles or monasteries, we enable high-quality, reversible museum lighting by integrating the latest lighting technology into existing historic chandeliers:
- Warm white and neutral white light – combinable in one system
- Different beam angles, interchangeable lens systems
- Invisible integration into chandeliers, wall sconces and ceiling elements
- Precise accentuation of ceiling paintings, murals, sculptures and exhibits
- Museum-like light quality without visible technology or additional cabling
This solution is ideal for lighting design in listed buildings – minimally invasive, architecturally compatible and visually impressive.
