Hearthouse München
The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards are now in their ninth year and a globally recognized competition for the design of pubs, restaurants, bars etc. - whether on a ship, at the airport or in museums, whether Michelin-awarded or a fleeting pop Up Restaurant – everything is taken into account. The awards receive international attention from famous designers and hospitality operators from around the world. Recent names include: Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma, Foster & Partners, Stephen Alden, Gordon Ramsay, Tony Chambers (Editor in Chief, Wallpaper*), Alberto Alessi, Thomas Heatherwick and many more!
We are pleased that this year's jury awarded the Hearthouse in Munich the "German Design Award Special 2017" in the Interior Architecture category. The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. His goal: to discover, present and award unique design trends. Every year, top-class submissions from product and communication design are awarded, all of which are groundbreaking in the international design landscape in their own way. The German Design Award, initiated in 2012, is one of the most recognized design competitions worldwide and enjoys a high reputation far beyond specialist circles.
