VIDEOPANELS

Video panels – light meets moving image in glass

The development of video-interfered light opens up new dimensions in lighting design: Video panels embedded in walls, ceilings, floors, or furniture transform surfaces into vibrant light images. The technology is based on backlit glass surfaces in which moving video content is diffusely embedded – atmospheric, malleable, and artistic.

Fischer & Partner Lichtdesign creates custom-made systems with flexible panels that can be adapted to curved surfaces and free-form shapes. This allows both flat and organic architectural elements to be staged media-based – from small details to spatially defining installations.

Light as space – day and night in one element

Beyond artistic integration, the light from these video panels can also be used as atmospheric room lighting. At night, the backlit glass surfaces serve as a soft, flat light source – atmospheric, glare-free, and architecturally integrated. By day, the panels become aesthetic design elements that subtly combine glass, color, material, and image.

The technology is suitable for public buildings, museums, hotels, brand spaces, trade fairs, and high-end private interiors. The moldable construction allows for use in walls, ceilings, arches, columns, or even furniture.
